New Moon in Gemini - What does this mean for you?
NEW MOON IN GEMINI...What does this mean for you?
Typically the new moon, especially a new moon in the month of May (spring in the Northern Hemisphere) is the best time to plant seeds for the future - both figuratively and physically.
This is the time of the year in the Northern Hemisphere when it's time to plant your garden...get out and work the dirt (this will be important in a moment so take note), plant seeds, nurture these seeds until the full moon of June.
But this Gemini New Moon is a little different...you see, Gemini is ruled by the planet Mercury and perhaps you've noticed recently that s*&^t is going sideways...that's probably because Mercury is Retrograde. What does that even mean you might ask? In a nut shell, Mercury Retrograde means the energies like to play games, things tend NOT to go as planned...things can easily go awry and typically do under Mercury Retrograde. Many who follow the stars and planets won't sign contracts or enter into business deals until Mercury goes direct...which it will - on June 6th.
So, if this full moon is in Gemini, ruled by Mercury, who is currently retrograde, don't we have conflicting messages right now...plant seeds due to New Moon, but double whammy of not only Mercury Retrograde but the fact that this moon is in Gemini ruled by Mercury...so what's a girl to do?
Remember I said working the dirt would come back up...Here's the thing, now is still a great time to plant seeds, just as it always is under the spring New Moon...but in return, know that Mercury Retrograde is going to make you work for your seeds to come to fruition...this means the large possibility of bringing up the past, bringing up past hurts, bringing up past failures, bringing up lessons that you failed to take to heart and learn the first (second, third) time around. But forewarned is forearmed. If you know that you may face these lessons as you plant your seeds for your future, then you can prepare yourself mentally and psychologically to face down the consequences. This often makes the burden of facing the lessons much easier...
This can be such a positive as you can finally work through some past lessons, start to clear some Karma...and with Mercury going Direct only 7 short days after this New Moon, you can breathe into the remaining days before the full moon and nurture those seeds that you planted, knowing that past lessons are hard, clearing Karma is hard...but that the resulting harvest is always a celebration of success.
So go plant seeds - plant them literally in your garden, plant them by sending out resumes, plant them by finally standing up to your crappy boss, plant them by speaking up to someone who's put you down...embrace what you want to put out there.
